As an avid EA Games and FIFA fan I was interested in knowing what songs would be in it this time-after all, you hear the soundtrack everytime you play the game. This is not about why someone buys a game, but an encylopedia article about this game, and it should be consistant between the previous FIFA series articles. As I've said before, lists of such things are not suitable for Wikipedia - if you're going to include the leagues and stadia, why not include a list of all players? While I'm definitely not suggesting doing that, that's how I see the logic. Likewise for the soundtrack, nobody buys a game based on the songs they might hear. While they may have been key features when they were first introduced in a FIFA game, their continued existance in FIFA 07 does not make them notable.

Anyway, lists of the leagues and stadia are something you'd find on GameFAQs, the instruction manual, the back of the box, or a very in-depth review. It even states that only one of the leagues and two of the stadia are new. I don't think it's really useful to have lists of all the leagues, stadia etc, present in the game. You also won't be able to get it on any of the newer Windows computers. However, with all the new versions to play, it is not worth the trouble. They do have less licensing, so they continue to gain and lose important teams. It features greater ball control and a challenging playstyle that 07 doesn't have.

Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2018 is FIFA's main competitor. Overall, it was a fresh take on the series. Also, the negotiations for players and the Ultimate Team mode have been significantly upgraded. The 2018 edition had significant improvements to which 07 can't even compare. There are many options for FIFA games out there, with some of them being successful and others not improving that much. This advancement has led to the continual addition and improvement of the modes of play. Also, EA introduced a Manager system, which is quite limited. Players and AI act quite realistically compared to their real-world counterparts. It's one of the first as well to feature the ability to use tactics in the engine. Also, to this day, the sound effects remain some of the best in the series history. This FIFA features the first online multiplayer mode available.
